To learn what NA is all about, you can also attend the area’s Newcomer Workshop, held every Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian, 1100 Shasta Ave. (off of the Alameda) in San Jose.  If you would like to speak to someone or need an immediate response, please call our Phoneline at 408-998-4200. For representatives from a hospital, medical institution, correctional institution or other facility who are interested in having a meeting brought to your facility:
The Greater San Jose Area of Narcotics Anonymous maintains a Hospitals and Institutions (H&I) Subcommittee that brings regular NA meetings into facilities where addicts or people with drug problems may be located. To learn about how to have an H&I meeting brought to your facility, please send an e-mail to the H&I chairperson. You should receive a response in 2-3 days. Please include a contact name and phone number where you can be reached.

For health care workers, school administrators or others who would like a presentation on the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship:
If you would like to arrange for a presentation so your employees or students can learn more about Narcotics Anonymous, please send an e-mail to our Public Information Subcommittee. You should receive a response in 2-3 days. Please include a contact name and phone number where you can be reached.

For families who may have a family member in recovery or who want to learn more about recovery:
Family members of addicts or people who may have a problem with drugs can receive support through another program call Nar-Anon. You can contact Nar-Anon at 408-296-2474.
